As the Group Chief Operations Officer, I joined Axos in 2024 to help our teams achieve operational excellence and efficiency and continue to deliver the best service to our customers.
I began working in the utilities sector with SouthPower in the 90s and became interested in technology and how it can support business and customer success. My career has included roles such as Supply Chain Lead, Project Manager, CIO, and GM Network Operations. The common goal for all these, has been leading people and improving client outcomes.
My passion is helping people to make tomorrow better. I do this by coaching individuals and organisations in continuous improvement to reach their goals.
In my free time my wife and I enjoy our lifestyle block, the beach and spending time with our two lovely, confident daughters.

I'm Toh, a seasoned software engineer with over 15 years of experience. I recently joined Axos, where I've been contributing my skills for the past four months. Originally from Thailand, I've called New Zealand home for the past eight years and enjoy living in Wellington. Outside of work, my priority is my family—I have two wonderful kids aged 7 and 3, who bring endless joy to my life. When I'm not with them or coding, you'll likely find me on the basketball court. Basketball is my passion, whether I'm playing with friends or cheering on my favourite team.

Bringing a decade of electricity industry expertise, I joined Axos Systems in 2018 after four fulfilling years as a billing manager, first at Contact Energy and then Simply Energy. As a Senior Service Delivery Analyst, I know a lot about pricing configurations, system deploys, software solution development, customer engagement, and taking care of the plants in the office. The collaborative process at Axos is my favourite part about working at Axos—I thrive on collaborating with every member of the Axos team to transform customer needs into innovative solutions, exceeding expectations while contributing to the products’ efficiency. Having lived in the US, Japan, and West Africa, and my camper van having explored nearly every corner of New Zealand, my goal to eventually live on every continent is more than halfway completed. I am a stargazing enthusiast and amateur football player, I coordinate Axos’s indoor football team: “The Claws of Axos”. Other interests include movies, concerts, and various live events, often shared with my amazing better half, Janine.

Axos offered me the first IT job in New Zealand where I will complete five years by the end of this year as a tester. Migrated from Sri Lanka with three and half years of experience in testing and continued with the same path here in New Zealand after my graduate diploma. Axos gave me the opportunity to use my testing knowledge and experience, which has improved along the way with the help of my team. My professional experience includes analysing the business requirements, creating test strategies, and executing tests to identify bugs in the system so that we can release bug free software to our customers. Apart from work I am married to a wonderful husband and mother to a little boy. I enjoy cooking and spending my time with the family.

I have been working at Axos as a developer since 2015. Coming off the back of the DevAcacademy course - where I specialised in Ruby-on-Rails. During my time at Axos I have participated in many onboarding projects for new clients, bespoke functionality for existing clients and work to ensure our codebase does what it needs to do. From time to time I get enthusiastic about new ideas which I think will help our product, and occasionally these make their way into our system. In my younger years I studied the arts - specifically English and Music - where I graduated from Victoria and Massey with a BA and a BMUS(jazz) respectively, and after this I did some overseas travel where I did manage to cart my double bass all around the London Underground on several occasions. These days I still find some opportunities to play in various capacities around the greater Wellington region and beyond, although much of my time outside of work is dedicated to spending time with my wife Marta and raising our two daughters.

I'm fortunate to be working with Axos straight after finishing my IT studies. My new qualification enhanced and broadened my skill set, with a strong emphasis on developing business solutions. I bring a positive attitude and am always willing to learn new skills and systems to achieve a higher level of performance. When out of the office, you can find me doing volunteer work for local communities, baking and gardening, exploring and trying new experiences in New Zealand and overseas when I can, and spending time and good food with people I love.

I have been working in Aotearoa's energy industry off-and-on since 2005, and have been developing Rails applications since 2010, when I moved from Dunedin to Wellington. I've worked for Axos Systems since August 2023, and I love it because it's a small, close-knit team doing some big things, and I enjoy being able to apply my wide range of expertise in designing both portable and bespoke solutions. Other than that, I'm quite a nerd! I'm neurodivergent (ADHD), and I've been programming computers since 1986 (age 3) and would be doing it as a hobby if not as a job. I enjoy playing guitar and bass, building Lego models and playing video games, especially with my wife and daughter.
